Long-standing client relations
Back in 1996, before Lanartco even had office space in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, we were hired by a new division of AIG called AIG Global Real Estate. We were asked to work with one of their foriegn national accountants to help her increase her overall confidence in American English. By 1999, we were hired to come in and coach several native English-speaking employees on the development of their communication skills. Each case was unique and each individual thrived with Lanartco`s Act On It! methodology. By the mid 2000s, we were introduced to one of AIG GRE`s partners, AIG Lincoln and we were brought to Barcelona to deliver our Presenting Skills workshop to their global team. We continue to work with the team in New York City delivering both private and group training and development.

Happy clients create repeat business
When this French banker came to Lanartco back in 1999, Calyon Securities was still called Credit Lyonnais and Lanartco was just beginning to offer our communication skills programs. As a junior professional at Credit Lyonnais, this individual was looking to reduce his nervousness when speaking with his team. Results that cross borders
A Senior Associate at a French investment bank needed to improve his language skills in order to communicate with his South American clients. Challenge: To be able to read and discuss financial reports in Brazilian Portuguese with his clients in Brazil. Solution: Lanartco offered an accessible and flexible program of extensive Brazilian Portuguese classes delivered by a native Portuguese speaking professional. Result: After the first set of hours were completed, the client signed up for additional training and within the year, he felt more comfortable reviewing and explaining financial documents with his clients in Brazil.

Siblings benefit too
Some may believe that using testimonials of relatives is somehow less valid than success stories that stem from the blood sweat and tears born from landing a job and getting positive results from a cold call. It wasn`t until Lanartco`s founder, Jill Diamond, however, was a seasoned communication skills trainer that she was hired by her family-run business in Mildord Connectectiut to run a workshop on Communication Skills. And it wasn`t until her older brother was sitting front and center during that workshop that she was faced with the challenge of bringing her skills back home. Some of the company`s team dated back to when Jill was in high school. The real success came with the group`s immediate application of the tools brought to the program that day. Open enrollment curriculum meets broad needs
Societe Generale adopted Lanartco’s Foreign Language curriculum in 2004 to aid in achieving communication excellence within its corporate structure and with its clients. Challenge: To provide an accessible and flexible program that all eligible employees could benefit from. Solution: A complete (beginner to advanced) open enrollment French language curriculum, delivered extensively twice a week and at several time slots. Result: Hundreds of registrations and buy-in from eager employees who have benefited from this learning opportunity for the past six years plus additional language and communication skills programs.
